Frequently Asked Questions
I want to have counselling. How does it work?
You can contact me via email or text message, and I get back to you to schedule a 20-30 minutes chemistry call to see, how we match. You can ask further questions about working with a counsellor and I can also get a glimpse about you and your focus points. This is free of charge. If it feels right, and we decide to work together, we schedule the first intake session.
What is the intake session?
This is our first session, when we get to map out your current life situation, and if it’s possible we are setting the goals and the number of further sessions. It’s an important step in getting to know you and plan together efficiently.
I have a diagnosis from a mental health care provider. Can I still come to you?
Yes, if you are seeking non-medical support, but it’s necessary to provide more information about your condition in order to know, if we can work together. My competence does not extend to cover mental disorders, diagnosing, using clinical labels, interpret symptomes as medical conditions. If you are already working with a psychologist, psychiatrist, it’s advised to inform them about you seeking for other type of help as well. The support I can provide is focusing on your well-being, self-regulation, emotional management, dealing with every day life instead of the diagnosis itself. It can be a useful complemention of an already existing support.
How much does a session cost?
